Recently my husband and I have talked about cutting our grocery budget as far down as we can... while of course feeding our little girl a healthy meal ;)
So, I have worked out a meal plan for 7 days and am attempting to spend as close to $50 as possible.
I am also working on not wasting the food I buy, and seeing if I can use one item I purchase multiple times.
Below is my menu plan for this week, followed by a breakdown of items.
I have tried to notice prices as I walk through the grocery store so I can just write the item price and then there is less calculating on my actual shopping trip.
I have gone over our budget due to a special event on Friday but, for the rest of the week I am pretty much on target.
I have completed my list through October and it only took me about 45 minutes and will be well worth the effort I think.

Mel! I love how your blog looks! I honestly haven't looked at the blogs in a while. There is some glitch in the link from my dashboard to your account, so I have to figure that out.
