Just The Facts

Well, our little family is having a very pleasant summer indeed! 

Wiskeytown Lake

Several trips to the water have made us feel very cool and comfortable.
Miss Belle is learning how fun the water can be and after
our latest trip was joyfully floating and splashing with her friends.
She still loves to dig and throw rocks but, I think the water is winning her over.

Mr Conner is a growing sweet little boy.
He amazes me every day with his joyful little spirit.
Anytime Dave and I are talking he starts smiling and before long he has us laughing at his little sounds and smiles that  he uses to try to get our attention.

The next few days will be difficult to wait through as we prepare for vacation.
Some dear friends are taking a group of  12 adults and two little babies to Maui.
Sounds like a recipe for a Disney Family film. We are very excited and looking forward to the great time of relaxing and fellowship all before two good good family friends leave for Seminary.
It is sort of a last hurrah.

The last thing on our plate is that Dave has applied to be official Pastor here at Oak Run Bible Church.
This both excites us and causes moments of deep thinking and prayer.
We both felt called to ministry early in our relationship but, didn't quite know how that would look.
This really feels like the way God would like us to go. 
We feel that we have made a nice little home here in O.R. and are prayerfully looking forward to becoming Pastor and Pastor's wife here.
