Full Of Thanks

At this time of year, we sit back with family and friends and speak of things we are thankful for.
Well, tonight my mind keeps thinking of the person I am most thankful for
so, it seemed like an appropriate time to express those thanks on my blog.
I do express my thanks to him at other times but, tonight is special.

The person who I am continually thankful for is my husband.
He is the most amazing person God has allowed in my life.
He is my best friend, my rock and the person who has helped shape my character.
Also, he has never given up on me and my struggles as a Christian, wife and mother.
When I read
Ephesians 5:22 Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her
I see my husband so clearly in that verse.

There are so many things that man has given up for me.
It is amazing to stop and think of a husband's sacrifice.

1PE 3:7 Husbands, in the same way be considerate as you live with your
wives, and treat them with respect as the weaker partner and as heirs with
you of the gracious gift of life, so that nothing will hinder your prayers.

This is another excellent verse, and as I read my mind is drawn to my husband.
He has always given me the amount of protection and respect that I need.

So tonight I take these moments and praise the Lord for bringing Dave, who is my perfect husband, into my life.
He brought him at the just the right time and has allowed us to have almost 7 years of working together.
I have been so blessed to share a home and children with this man!
