I am sitting here reflecting on our Sunday happenings, and my thoughts keep drifting back to my husband's sermon from today.
He preached from First John Chapter Six.
He was emphasizing that God is the full embodiment of love.
At one point in his sermon he came to the verse that says "Perfect love casts out fear"
Tonight as I am pondering this...... it causes me to think about marriage being a wonderful human reflection of that "Perfect Love That Casts Out Fear"
We create a boundary of love around ourselves as husband and wife, knowing that our relationship is built with God's glory in mind and together we are striving toward his perfect love for each other.
We have this great example right in our home, of God's goodness.
David and I know that within our marriage it is safe and secure.
That we love each other and need never fear rejection.
It is amazing to think that this love and safety we have, is just a dim reflection of what the Father has in store for us when we are glorified, and abide with him forever.
God has given us so many wonderful treasures in our day to day lives.
Isn't it good when we have a moment to sit and thank him for these blessings.
1 Corinthians 13:12
Now we see things imperfectly as in a cloudy mirror, but then we will see everything with perfect clarity. All that I know now is partial and incomplete, but then I will know everything completely, just as God now knows me completely.
Have a great week ladies!
I pray we may find many opportunities to serve God as wives, friends, daughters, workers, mothers and more.

Thanks for the re-cap. I missed his sermon...I should listen to it on CD. By the way, love the upbeat hymn on here.
