My husband is a waffle-maniac. I really had no idea about this joy of his until he came home from Walmart with a manly grin upon his face,
said " I BOUGHT THIS" and sat a waffle maker on the counter.
Always, in my younger days I used a mix for everything. Just like other college educated young ladies out there.
So the time had come to find a proper recipe for Waffles. I mixed and tweaked till I found perfection.
Dave and I spent much time poking, prodding and pouring to make that waffle maker create crisp, gold puffs of waffle yumminess.
Here is our recipe. (It is even a little healthy)

Whole Wheat Waffles
Makes 5 waffles (In our waffle maker)

3 eggs
2 tablespoons baking powder
dash of salt
1 3/4 cup milk

Mix it all up till nice and fluffy.
Add to a hot waffle iron for about 5 minutes (or until your fancy iron's lights goes off)
Enjoy the warm delicious breakfast you made.

Mmmmmm!! I have not had waffles in a very long time. Your recipe sounds really good and healthy, I like the little bit of honey too.
