Small Town Fun In A Big Way

Today our efforts of the last few months in History Group
came together pretty smoothly and full of a lot of fun!
Our first ever Oak Run Heritage Day took place today, starting with a community parade that came down to the fire-hall.

Then we served hotdogs, beans, watermelon and more for pretty decent prices. I worked as cashier and my little man was my helper as we took and made change.
There were quite a few history displays and entries in the parade.
I had a lot of fun working the set up and clean up crews plus just visiting with neighbors.
Bella, Katie and Ellie
Bella made some friends and had fun when her friend's Ellie and Katie showed up.
So a good full day was had by all!
I am so thankful that God directed us to the Oak Run Community just over a  year ago.
I know this is where he wants us to be!
