Ants In Your Pants?

I have been struggling with these pesky guys at my house over the last few weeks.

Around this time of year they make my home their own. 

I try to wait as long as I can but, always they get to be more than I can handle. 

(right now they have made the hall bath non-usable with their pesky presence)

So here is how I cope and keep them at bay.

Remember ants like water, even if you scrub everything raw and white 

you may still have problems especially, in the kitchen and bathroom where water abounds. 

Don't be tempted to smash ants. This will attract more ants to their dear dead friend 

and just make your bad problem that much worse. 

Leave lights on, ants like the dark
and sometimes the light helps disrupt them.

Here are some specific remedies I have tried.

1.Cinnamon~Sprinkle it in their favorite spots

2.Cayenne pepper ~ find those little creeps and shake it!

3.Vinegar~ Spray bottle and spritz away.

4. I make up a solution of Vinegar, Water and a few drops of peppermint oil.
I wash everything with this 

5. Black Pepper

6. For times where I find a large swarming mass of them... 

I use Windex. Very quick kill! Wipe them up with a paper towel and throw it away.

7. Boiling water on any ant hills you can find.

When these methods stop working scream loudly, and call a pest control person.
