It worked day and night to bring my little girl into the world
Then, on June 5th 2008 Isabella Mackenzie gave lusty wails and was placed into our arms.

New to the world |
On that day, I cried many tears of joy and praised the Lord for his goodness.
He had heard my prayers for this child and here she was looking up at me...
wrapped in a blanket and fresh from her first bath.
Now she is a toddler, and no longer am I able to hold her cuddled in my arms.
She sits on my lap and asks for stories,
We dance together,
I kiss her owies and she makes sure mine are kissed as well
I ask her who made her... then we say God made me/her
She begs to swing on her swing outside
All of this grown up behavior!
At night though, I quietly slip in her room and pull the blanket up to her chin.
Silently I set her puppy back into her arms and I place my hand on her head.
I close my eyes, and pray a prayer of thanks to our Father above.
I walk out of her room, start to pull the door shut.... but as I do I take one more glance and sigh.
At that moment, I am perfectly thankful and content
