I am again drawn away and enticed by the world of party-planning.
I love this world, all of it glitz, glamor and Martha Stewart essence.
It makes me dream of world where we had an unlimited supply of funds to throw simple dinner gatherings and full fledged galas.
(Take a brief sigh here)
Well, enough dreaming and on to the point of my post.
I have been thinking of Candy Buffets.
To some they may be a new thing, and to others you might have had your fill of this tasty creation but, to me they are simply divine.
At a wedding, baby shower or wedding shower.....you pick out candies that match the colors of your party and use jars, glass containers, trifle dishes, cake plates etc. to artfully set up a table, From which your guests are able to sample the candy while celebrating, or bring home a bag of sugary plunder.
Wonderful idea isn't it? Oh so pretty as well!
Ribbons, scrapped cards and other embellishments can be used on the table as well.
Also other ideas for treats are flavored popcorn, different spiced and sugared nuts or even take home teas and cocoas. What fun!
