
COUGH SYRUP
from Reader’s Digest Practical Problem Solver
3 Tbsp. lemon juice
1 c. honey
1/4 c. warm water
Combine juice and honey. Slowly stir in water. Store in refrigerator.
TO USE:
Take 1-2 Tbsp. every 3 hours.
NOSE DROPS

2 c. water
Mix.
EXPECTORANT COUGH SYRUP
2 Tbsp. diced onion
1/2 c. honey
Mix in double boiler and cook slowly over very low heat for 2 hours. Strain through coffee filter. Store at room temperature 1-2 months.
TO USE:
Adults take 1-2 Tbsp. every 4 hours. Children 8-15 take 1 tsp. every 4 hours.
BATH BAG FOR COLD AND FLU
4 pts. lavender
4 pts. rosemary
2 pts.ginger (if you use freshly grated increase to 4 pts.)
2 pts. Eucalyptus

Pour HOT water over all and steep for 5 or 10 min. Drink as hot as you can. Use cooler for your older child or milder with NO honey for the baby, given in a dropper.
