A few days ago I thought it would be a nice gesture to purchase
an Outback Gift Certificate for a relative.
I went online, picked out my perfect G.C. and made my purchase.
Much to my disappointment there was some sort of mysterious error with my card.
It recommended I try my card again.
So, against my better "woman of much intelligence" judgment I clicked try again.
I did this four times. "Hmmm" I thought, "Still not working" on to bigger and better things"
I moved over to Walmart.com to purchase bookshelves for our children.
One shelf, is for the little blue eyed gal and one is for the one who currently makes his home against my spine.
Once again, the card did not work.
My dear husband stepped in at this point and suggested I try his card.
So, I joyfully took it, typed it in and was approved.
At this point, dear Dave asked about my actions online.
The bank account was checked, and found to have 4 G.C. Purchases and 2 extra Walmart shelves.
I still can not believe I continued to click even when I knew that it was a poor choice :)
Perhaps it is like those who continue to play those video games even when they are losing.
I called our Bank, and they reassured me that all was well and all the charges would probably evaporate in the next day. Well, for five days I worried as it did not go away.
However, this morning... Victory!
It is all back and things are well.
My mind though... well my mind is never going to be the same and I worry about where it might be located.
Hopefully a horse will not kick in the mud... for then it is goodbye Melissa!

At least part of your mind is now it that little man inside of you!
