Melissa’s Seafood Chowder
1 16 oz Container whole milk
1 8 oz container half and half
Fill to top of pot with skim or 2% milk
Potatoes chopped very small
3 cans clams
½ package imitation crab or real crab
2 bay leaves
Salt and pepper
Tiny shake of dry onion
Let cook on low for about 21/2 hours
Add small amount of butter at this time
Add more crab
Thicken with flour
After letting cook about 3 ¼ hours
Add shrimp and rest of crab
At last moment add in a package of cooked and chopped bacon
Serve with paprika and parsley on top
I can not believe I have not put this on here before!
This is a recipe I do not make very much but, it is very very good!
