Sometimes life is all about what sort of glasses you are wearing.
When you wake up in the morning do you wear the glasses of bitterness?
The glasses or discontent or grumbling?
When I get up in the morning and dig into God's word with all my might, I find my day brightens.
I suppose then, that I must be wearing the right prescription. This is so much better than the other kind of morning
The day goes more smoothly because I have started my day off correctly.
Children can be, well they can be children. They do little things that frustrate and perplex.
If I am viewing them in the right mindset though, those frustrations are seen as teaching moments, and moments where I must follow God's path and not the path my selfish hearts begs me to go down.
Children are not a burden, they are not a hardship and they are little people to treasure. I have had people comment to me that I was foolish to have mine so close together. I love that they are 21 months apart.
It was quite a bit of work for a while. Now though I get such a happy heart from watching them play.
I have not had the easiest time bringing little people into the world. I stare at big families and wish that could be me, surrounded by 7 little ones all cuddled on the couch.
That does not see to be the plan God has in store for me.
So, I must choose to put on the glasses of joy and serve him well with those he has given me.
They must be taught, enjoyed, loved and trained.
How do you see your children? How can we view them through God's eyes?
"But let all who take refuge in you rejoice; let them sing joyful praises forever. Spread your protection over them, that all who love your name may be filled with joy." Psalm 5:11
"Always be full of joy in the Lord. I say it again - rejoice!" Philippians 4:4

Such a great reminder mel. Well and to keep in mind for the future I suppose :) You are a wonderful mother and a great influence on me to keep the Lord and his ways in your mind at all times.
Two can be a quiver-full. :)
