My husband, who is a dear man and is always looking out for my best interest,
decided I should give up coffee.
He is a amazing leader here at our house..... but I ask myself:
HUH...What??? Will this really work?
I love coffee, no I ADORE coffee.
If I had a best friend, my coffee cup would be that best friend.
I am not myself till my morning Java and the java propels through all day into my night-shift mom work
Now though:
I have been coffee-sober now since Sunday evening.
I am able to drink tea to help get through the process.
I have also been taking a lot of Tylenol since the head-ache is blinding.
I was a 5-8 cup a day abuser.
So coming off this black-warm-cozy-creamy drug is quite a process.
I have heard that if you can get through the first week, you will conquer the habit and feel better.
So we shall see.
My favorite part of the day,
was pulling into my driveway and falling asleep in my car.
Yes folks, as my wee little children slept in their car-seats Mom also dozed.
Thank goodness we live in the country.
I shall let you know, how I proceed.....
Right now I think I need to bash in my head with a gentle-pain-killer hammer.

What love you have for your sweet Conner. Makes me smile to think of Bell and him playing together. Feel like I'm missing so much of their lives...although you do a good job helping me keep up:) May God give you renewed strength as you raise the little man! And oh my Mel...no coffee, what a trooper you are to sign off on the wonderful brown beverage. 5-8 cups...is a lot though:) I am cheering for you! Oh how I love tea..there are so many kinds of tea to sip and enjoy. You will make it!
