I can hardly believe it as I glance at the calendar and read August on the heading. Where has our summer slipped off to? It's been a great summer full of big moments and little teeny tiny fun ones! I had planned, as I always plan, to be at home more and enjoy small projects. As is always the case we found ourselves immersed in fun things around us. We enjoyed several pool parties at the start of the year, sploshing and splashing with friends is the best way to start things off.
Then, there were birthday parties and friend get together all mashed up together!
Our family enjoyed our Walters' family camp out in June tremendously! There were rousing shouts of "Let's do it next year TWICE"
We enjoyed our Grandma/Mom Jackie staying with us on and off in the coming weeks. Along with a festive July 4th at the Lake and Heritage Day (Always a blast)
Finally, it was time to head to Oregon. We spent our time in Oregon doing everything under the sun you could find to do. Children's museums. carousels, lunches with friends, lots of time with the sets of Grandparents and cousins! We even squeezed in time for berry picking!
Now we're getting ready for school, and looking for those leaves to fall and pumpkins to be put out! Fall is around the corner and we're ready!
