Photo Thoughts Updates

I have been doing some more reading online, looking to hone my skills with a camera.
In the future, I am hoping to sit down and take a class or two.
I so enjoy peeking at the world behind my lens.
It captures a nano-second, an unspoken or whispered thought.
Photos are powerful, in one glance we are taken to a place.
I love watching my wee children grow up in between clicks.

Several things that I have been working on are:

1.Watching my light more closly. Where is the direction of light coming from?
2. Using flash in bright sunlight to fill in on the faces (Example to come)
3. Watching my backgrounds. I am trying to get better at scoping out the scene to make sure there are no large, odd items in the back of my portraits.

Here is an example of using the flash to fill in.

After-let there be light!
