Melissa's 10 All-Time-Hands-Down Greatest Songs of All Time

As a Christmas special, over the next few days I will bringing you my selections for
TOP TEN SONGS OF ALL TIME
I will also be sharing my reasons for the said honor of "top song"

In no particular order I present to you my top ten favorite-hands down-all time songs of all time.

Hungarian Rhapsody No.2

My reasoning behind this making it into the top ten.

This song runs the gambit of song-emotional responses.
It begins slow and methodical,
drawing us in with brief musical updrafts.
Only to lull us into a false sense of musical security before
surprising us yet again with
delicate pulls on the strings.
The songs proceeds to gather speed, momentum... thrusting us forward
and quickly spins into a feeling of being out of control-musically.
Eventually it  becomes a whirling dervish of sorts
and glides out of control.
(Yes, I mean "glides")
This song shows a wider range of sound, staying in the minor key
while moving into the corresponding major at times.
It is technically challenging, and is difficult to play, ascending and descending most of the keyboard.
All of this comes together to place it on my list.
Or in this case Lizt :) ( Ha ha a musical joke)
Please listen for yourself and see how it places on yours
