Gingerbread Cookie Time!!!

Last Saturday Bella and I made ginger bread cookies for my history group meeting and our Christmas program. Well, and some for just us (wink wink
I have been wanting to do this with Bella for a long time and have been gathering ingredients and cookie cutters. I was not disappointed! She loved it, she definitely preferred the actual decorating, to the cutting out, as that can become tedious for a young lady of two.
So some Conner wrestling was had after a bit and all was well.

Hands at work
My favorite part of the time was when, her cookie became overrun by Mt Red Hot and completely disappeared. His poor little legs stuck out as though someone had placed a metaphorical house on him.
Bella understood what she was doing and I just went with it. Another funny moment came when Bella was trying so hard to decorate her little man by punching the frosting tube in. He ended up covered with holes and the frosting tube would not squirt, much to her confusion.

A quick fix

Poor little pocked man
What a great way to spend a Saturday morning!
I love sitting down with Bella, chatting and working on a project together.
