This was my lunch today and my goodness it was tasty!
I have been making a lot of cous cous lately and just love the flavor
Here is a quick recipe
How to prepare Cous Cous
1 & 1/2 cups of water for every cup of Cous Cous
Add salt to taste
Bring this to a boil, turn off stove and add your grain accordingly
Place a lid on the top and let sit for five minutes. When, ready fluff with a fork.
My Add-in recipe is as follows
(Sorry it is pinch and dash lingo)
Cumin to taste
Garlic to taste
Fresh chopped cilantro
Chopped tomatoes
chopped green onion
Salt and black pepper
Lemon juice
Olive Oil
Mix together and add to the Cous Cous when it has stood for five minutes.
This is amazing! I believe it is also fairly good for you
so kudos for trying something new, and eating healthier!
