Today has been an excellent day for the Walters' family.
Last night we had a meeting about the kids ministry at Oak Run and it was a great time of idea gathering and changes.
I am so excited about the new direction we are headed and feel that God is moving all of our hearts together.
We did however, stay up far to late for these old bones, and I felt it this morning when I woke up to my dear daughter's singing, which was followed by the sharp rapport of a woodpecker against the house.
Why do they chose Saturday morning to make their bird presence known.
Such is life!
Then, this afternoon I had my Oak Run History Group meeting. It went rather well.
We had a time of elections and I became the secretary, a role which I am excited to fill.
While we were there, we had an earthquake. I have heard that it was located just off the coast of Eureka but, we certainly felt it here.
One of the ladies joked that "Well, I thought I was just dizzy again" after which laughter ensued.
So a nice relaxing Saturday was had by me.
Now, as I sit here listening to Bach, and finishing the bulletin for church
I am preparing my heart to enjoy the Lord's day tomorrow and have a time of heart renewing.
God bless you folks this Saturday night, as we reflect upon our week and look to start a new one.
