5. Stay away from the love of money; be satisfied with what you have.
For God has said, "I will never fail you. I will never forsake you."
6. That is why we can say with confidence,
"The Lord is my helper, so I will not be afraid. What can mere mortals do to me?
It seems to be all the rage to simplify with the coming economic storm.
What is now popular has always been the Biblical standard
For us as women it is good to be reminded to be content with what we have,
and to not be fearful, for God is watching over us.
I have heard it said "Love God, love your husband, guide your children and go about your business"
Unlike the flow of money God is unstoppable and will always be just as powerful as he ever was.
We must keep these thoughts foremost in our minds.
Ladies,
I pray for us today that we will be content to live simply, and live with God's light in our eyes.

Thanks for the encouragement, Mel. I confess that I have not been content as I should be. It's easy even to get the gimmies in wanting to simplify. Does that make sense? Love you and thanks for your inspiring blog.
